On 16 June, the entrepreneuress Malahat Gurbanova [Məlahət Qurbanova] filed suit in special charge procedure against the head of the Сriminal.az website Anar Mammadov [Məmmədov]. Gurbanova, engaged in pawning activity, had been offended by the expression "Lombard Malahat". The court sentenced the journalist to correctional work for a term of one year with the withholding of 20% of his income to the benefit of the state.
