On January 25, 2023, during the trials to elect a preventive measure for Crimean Tatars, the police began mass detentions near the building of the Kievsky District Court of Simferopol. The citizen journalist of Crimean Solidarity Amar Abdulgaziyev left the scene of events, but he was stopped in a neighbouring street and demanded to go to the bus for identification. He began to film the detention on his phone, at which time the Rosgvardia officers pinched his hands, raised them behind his back, and in this position took him to the bus with the detainees.
