From March to July 2022, the Saryagash District Court considered a lawsuit to protect the business reputation of the chairman of the public association Layla Darkhanbayeva, the reason for which were Batyrbekov's posts on Facebook and articles in the newspaper. According to the plaintiff, Batyrbekov's publications form a negative opinion in society about her and her activities. Darkhanbekova demanded to oblige the editor of S-Inform to refute the defamatory information and to recover KZT 1.5 million from Batyrbekov as compensation for moral damage. On July 21, the court completely rejected the claim of Layla Darkhanbekova.
