The Central District Court of Minsk has declared the Instagram page of journalist Alyona Chernyavskaya to be extremist information content. The online resource in question is the account “helena_travelena” (Alyona Chernyavskaya) with the identifier instagram.com/helena_travelena. Alyona Chernyavskaya is a journalist with the Belarusian Investigative Center and the host of the YouTube show "Weekly Top Fake". Based on the court’s decision, the Belarusian Ministry of Information has added this online resource to the “Republican List of Extremist Materials.” Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials recognised as extremist carry administrative liability for both publishers and users.
