Igor Tuzov, an employee of Corrective Labor Colony 9 (IK-9), threatened Konstantinova after an article on torture, and wrote a statement about her to the police. The journalist supposedly “disseminated information defaming his honor and dignity” in the Vkontakte group Guberniya Daily/News from Petrozavodsk in Karelia, also materials from Mediazona, Meduza, and the publication Petrozavodsk Govorit (Petrozavodsk Speaks).
