Aljaksandr Demidovich, a former employee of the news portal TUT.BY, was sentenced to 2.5 years of the restriction of freedom by sending him to an open-type correctional facility. The Tsentralny District Court of Minsk found him guilty of gross disorderly conduct (Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus) — for his participation in the protests in 2020. Before the shutdown of TUT.BY in May 2021, Aljaksandr Demidovich was the head of one of the units of the commercial service.
