The police detained Aljaksandr Barazenka while he was covering pickets for collecting signatures for presidential candidates. He was taken to the police department. He was drawn up a report for violation of the law on mass media (Article 22.9 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). The journalist's phone was confiscated for examination.
