The police detained the journalist on the street. They took her to the police department, where she was drawn up a report on violation of the law on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). The reason for the administrative prosecution was the coverage of the action of protest against the presidential election results. She was placed in the detention centre until the trial. On August 13, the court found the journalist guilty and arrested her for eight days.
