The editor-in-chief of the independent regional newspaper Hantsavitski Chas Piotr Guzayeusky and journalists Siarhei Bagrou and Aliaksandr Pazniak were summoned to the prosecutor’s office of the Hantsavichy District, allegedly for a preventive conversation. As a result, the prosecutor’s office read to Bagrou and Pazniak the text of an official warning about the inadmissibility of violating the law, but they were not allowed to read it personally or take pictures of it. As for Piotr Guzayeusky, the prosecutor’s office did not issue a warning to him, as they discussed other topics. The editor of Hantsavitski Chas was offered to hold a conversation with the journalists of the newspaper about the prevention of violation of the law. The acting prosecutor of the Hantsavichy District also asked Piotr Guzayeusky to place a text with preventive content on the newspaper’s website.
