Police officers came to Aliaksandr Burakou (senior) with a search warrant under Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (organisation and preparation of actions grossly violating public order or active participation in them) signed by the deputy prosecutor general of the Republic of Belarus. The search lasted about two hours: the law enforcers tore the panelling on the furniture, covers of cushions, they emptied food from containers in the kitchen. «It was not a search, but a pogrom», — Burakou notes. As a result, the journalist’s laptop, smartphone, and several flash cards were confiscated.
