In the Mari El Republic, journalist Alexey Seryogin was summoned to the local office of the Ministry of Justice, where an administrative offence report was drawn up against him for alleged participation in the activities of an “undesirable” organisation, under Article 20.33 of the Code of Administrative Offences. The case was initiated over a post published on 11 November, in which Seryogin partially summarised an investigation by the outlet Proekt into connections among members of the Russian authorities.
