Journalist Alexei Seregin has been summoned to the police for the drafting of a report on charges of inciting hatred. According to an officer from the Center for Combating Extremism, who delivered the summons to Seregin’s mother, four administrative cases have been opened against him. These include charges of “inciting hatred or enmity and humiliating human dignity” (Article 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and “abuse of freedom of the mass media” (Article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
