A report has been filed against journalist Alexei Seregin under Article 20.3.1 of the Russian Federation Code of Administrative Offences, which covers incitement of hatred or humiliation of human dignity. The complaint concerns two of his posts on Telegram, one about Ministry of Justice employee Olga Katerukhina and another about pro-government blogger Yuri Vorobyov. Katerukhina had previously filed a complaint against Seregin for “failing to register as a foreign agent,” for which he was fined. Vorobyov is the creator of pro-government anonymous channels, with whom the journalist has had a long-standing dispute.
