The Yoshkar-Ola City Court fined journalist Alexei Seregin 30,000 rubles (approximately €321). He was fined under the provision for publishing without the “foreign agent” label (Part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). The case relates to a VKontakte post on 26 May 2025, in which he reposted a message from the Telegram channel of Alexander Skobov’s support group — Skobov being a political prisoner.
