The Presnensky District Court of Moscow has fined journalist Alexey Pivovarov RUB 30,000 for the absence of a «foreign agent» marking in a publication. RIA Novosti writes that Roskomnadzor drew up a report on the journalist (Part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation), because he published a survey in his Telegram channel without the «foreign agent» marking. In court, Pivovarov’s defence insisted that it was technically impossible to insert the text of the label into a post with a survey on Telegram, and that the journalist had always complied with the obligation to mark other publications.
