The Yakutsk City Court has fined Vesti Yakutii editor-in-chief Alexey Pakhomov under Article 20.33 of the Administrative Code for alleged involvement with an “undesirable organisation.” The charges stem from two Telegram posts made in March 2018, in which Pakhomov shared links to TV Rain—five years before the outlet was officially labeled “undesirable” in 2023. He was fined 5,000 rubles for each post.
