The Sovetsky District Court of Nizhny Novgorod sent blogger Alexey Onoshkin to a pre-trial detention center until October 10. He is accused of spreading «fakes» about the army motivated by political hatred (Paragraph E of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Onoshkin is being prosecuted for a post on the social network VKontakte about the destruction of the Drama Theater in Mariupol, in which he called the Russian military «Russaks». On August 16, Onoshkin’s apartment was searched, after which he was taken for interrogation, and then placed in the detention center.
