A court in Yekaterinburg fined Kuznetsov RUB 20,000 for the hunger strike he organised outside penal colony № 2 in Tyumen. Kuznetsov was found guilty of organising an action without notification (Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). The journalist protested against not being allowed to interview prisoner Vladimir Dovganchuk, who was sentenced to 14 years in a pedophilia case.
