A court in Yekaterinburg fined Kuznetsov RUB 20,000 for a hunger strike near the Prison colony №2 in Tyumen. Kuznetsov was found guilty of organizing an unauthorized event (Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). The journalist was protesting about the fact that he was not allowed to interview prisoner Vladimir Dovganchuk, who was sentenced to 14 years in a pedophilia case.
