Journalist and blogger Alexei Romanov was detained by the police while he was covering the protest rally against the persecution of Sergei Furgal. An administrative protocol was drawn up against the blogger under Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code (participation in an uncoordinated action that interfered with the movement of pedestrians and vehicles). Romanov was immediately taken to court and arrested for 7 days.
