In Yekaterinburg, the police detained It’s My City journalist Alexander Zubkovsky who was filming a rally in support of independent media. He was taken to the police department. There, the officers of the Centre for Combating Extremism talked to Zubkovsky: they were interested in finding out who had recently pasted Vladimir Putin’s portrait on the gas box behind the bars. Zubkovsky was released without a report.
