The journalist was detained by the security officials when he was covering a protest action in the city. He was taken to the police department, where he was accused of disobedience to police demands (Article 23.4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). He was held in the detention centre until the trial. On November 2, the court found him guilty based on the police report and arrested him for 13 days.
