The Zelenograd District Court in Moscow has sentenced streamer Alexander Sokolovsky to four years of forced labor for inciting hatred (Article 282, Part 2a of the Criminal Code). The case began in May 2024 after Ekaterina Mizulina, head of the “Safe Internet League,” filed a complaint and released a video in which Sokolovsky sharply criticised Russian soldiers. Following the complaint, his apartment was searched, he was detained and pressured to record a video apology, and he remained in custody until the court’s verdict.
