Sokolov was summoned to the police following a denunciation by State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov. Milonov was approached by the New Russian Way movement — its activists complained about a certain publication in a Telegram channel with child porn, as well as entries in the same channel «aimed at forming attitudes of attractiveness» of homosexuality. The channel allegedly quoted an article from Antropogenez.ru. According to Sokolov, the Telegram channel has nothing to do with the website.
