The Novokubansk District Court of the Krasnodar Krai sentenced blogger Alexander Nozdrinov to eight years and six months in prison with a four-year ban on working in the media. He was found guilty of spreading fakes about the army out of mercenary motives (Paragraphs D and E of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) for a post in a Telegram channel from March 6, 2022. Nozdrinov published a photo of a bombed Kyiv apartment block with the caption «Ukrainian cities after the arrival of liberators». According to the prosecution, the blogger allegedly received a thousand rubles for this post.
