The Zavodskoy District Court of Saratov fined Alexander Nikishin RUB 10,000 for publishing materials of the election monitor Golos without foreign agent labelling. The journalist was charged with two articles of the Code of Administrative Offences at once — violation of the «order of activities» of «foreign agent» NGOs (Part 5 of Article 19.34) and «undesirable organisations» (Article 20.33). The case concerns the European Network of Election Monitoring Organisations (ENEMO), to which Golos belongs.
