Alexander Kamenyuk’s flat was searched in a case of libel (Article 138.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and insulting a representative of power (Article 319.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The case was initiated in connection with the September video on YouTube «About the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Kamchatka Krai», which allegedly «defames the honour and dignity of prosecutors» and «undermines their business reputation». He did not let them into the flat and started live-streaming on Instagram from the entrance of the building. Kamenyuk explained that there was no court decision to search his flat. He was shown an investigator’s ruling, which said that on October 12, a criminal case was opened against Kamenyuk and Filatov under the articles «insulting a representative of the authorities» and «libel».
