Synergy University accused blogger Alexander Gorbunov in libel and demanded to delete two YouTube videos that mention the university. One of the video reveals that “Synergiya” received 1 billion roubles from the budget, another one mentions fines given to the university for taking school students’ fingerprints. Synergy University forwarded Gorbunov a letter of claim, threatening to sue him for five million RUB (66,352 USD).
