The traffic police stopped the journalist's car under the pretext that it was necessary to inspect for the transportation of counterfeit alcohol. Then they said that the identification number of the car may be fake. On this basis, the journalist was detained and taken to the Leninsky ROVD of Mogilev. Late in the evening, the journalist was released from the ROVD, but immediately after he left, an unknown woman made a provocation - according to her statement, Burakov allegedly pounced on her and pushed her. The journalist was detained again and placed in the isolation ward pending trial.
