The police detained four female journalists — Liza Dudina (Sota), Alevtina Trynova (Vecherniye Vedomosti), Irina Salomatova (RusNews), and Kristina Khaker (Rosderzhava) — on Vainera Street in Yekaterinburg, where an anti- mobilization action was to take place. All the detainees were later released from the paddy wagon and asked to leave the site of the protest. Then Trynova was detained for a second time — the police had a complaint that she had gone to cover the rally without a passport. Trynova was taken to Police Department № 5, from where she was released without a report.
