The journalists of Important Stories Polina Uzhvak, Alesya Marokhovskaya, and Irina Dolinina were detained at the action in front of the Ministry of Justice. Four hours later, they were released from the police station with reports under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (participation in an unauthorized action). The series of individual pickets was timed to the International Day of Journalists’ Solidarity. Dolinina, Marokhovskaya, and Important Stories are included in the register of «foreign agents». On September 16, the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow fined each journalist RUB 10,000.
