Alesker Mammadli, the imprisoned founder of Toplum TV, is suffering from serious health problems, with multiple swellings appearing on different parts of his body. He urgently requires medical treatment and intervention, yet, according to his relatives and lawyers, the authorities have failed to take the necessary action. Another detained journalist, Farid Ismayilov, is also in poor health. Prior to his arrest, Ismayilov underwent several surgical operations, and it is reported that he now struggles to breathe and is medically unfit to remain in detention.
