Alesker Mammadli’s blood pressure cannot be stabilised in the pre-trial detention centre despite taking medication, Nasimi Mammadli, brother of Toplum TV founder Nasimi Mammadli, told Turan News Agency. «Alesker’s confinement has caused him a number of serious problems. A tumour in his thyroid gland still makes it difficult for him to breathe», — Nasimi noted. «Electronic signature Asan İmza and Alesker’s identity card have been seized by the investigating authority. This makes it impossible to submit tax returns. To get a new Asan İmza, Alesker has to give a power of attorney to someone close to him. «However, in violation of the law on the rights and freedoms of persons held in places of detention, a notary is not allowed to visit him», — said Nasimi.
