On October 11, at least 43 journalists were detained in Belarus during protests against the announced results of the presidential election. The journalist was detained, taken to the police station allegedly for a document check and issued protocol for participation in an unauthorised event. In the police station his health worsened. At first, officers did not react to his request to call an ambulance for a long time, then they agreed - the doctors took the journalist to the hospital due to an exacerbation of a chronic illness.
