They drew up a protocol on the violation of the mass events legislation. The journalist was released on 13/08/2020. “They started beating me right away. A woman in uniform beat me -she was a warden. She beat all the girls. Then, on the 13th, when there was a trial, I refused to sign the papers, which said I was arrested near the shopping centre "Riga". They took me out to the corridor, and the same woman started beating me again - with her knee in the stomach,” the journalist said. After her release, Dubovik was hospitalized on suspicion of ruptured internal organs.
