Journalist Aleksey Seregin from the Republic of Mari El received threats of physical violence from Andrei Beltyukov, a serviceman who participated in the war against Ukraine. The threats came after Seregin posted a private congratulatory message on social media that included the label “foreign agent.” Beltyukov warned that he would physically harm Seregin.
