Aksana Kolb, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Novy Chas, left Belarus. The journalist reported about her departure on Facebook. Previously, Kolb was sentenced to two and a half years of restricted freedom and sent to an open-type institution on charges of participation in mass riots (Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus) — for the presence at the protest marches against falsification of the presidential election in 2020.
