The Supreme Court of Tajikistan has ruled to block the news website Akhbor.com, which covers news in Tajikistan from abroad. The court granted a statement by the Prosecutor General of Tajikistan stating that Akhbor.com was linked to terrorist and extremist organisations banned in Tajikistan. The decision was made on February 18, but it became known to the public on April 9.
