Effect.uz journalist Akbar Nurimbetov was arrested in the Surxondaryo Region. On 6 April, the General Prosecutor’s Office reported that the journalist was put on the wanted after a criminal case had been initiated due to the incident in the Termez district court. Nurimbetov is charged with "resistance to a representative of the authority" and "interference in the investigation".
