The journalist of the Azerbaijan state news agency AZERTAC Aigun Hasanova, travelling to New Caledonia, was denied entry to the French overseas territory despite having a visa. Moreover, the document further notes, she was detained for 24 hours at the police station and expelled from the country as an «undesirable person». According to AZERTAC, the journalist was not allowed into New Caledonia «precisely because of her arrival from Azerbaijan».
