On August 31, 2020, Aider Kadyrov, citizen journalist of the Crimean Solidarity, was taken to the Federal Security Service department for interrogation and was not allowed to see his lawyer for 15 hours. Subsequently, Kadyrov was accused of «failure to report a crime» for allegedly having correspondence with a member of the terrorist group ISIS. He was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the city. The trial is currently ongoing.
