The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan accused journalist Agnieszka Pikulicka of violating four articles of the law. She wrote on her Twitter account about the witness pressure in the Bazarov case (the journalist who was recently beaten), her boyfriend's beating during an interrogation and the beginning of the persecution of LGBT people in Uzbekistan. Pikulicka also described the Ministry of Internal Affairs' accusations as an attempt to discredit her as a journalist.
