On July 27, the head of the website jamaz.info Fikret Ibishbeyli and the head of the website miq.az Agil Alyshov were invited to the General Prosecutor’s Office. They were warned against spreading false information to damage the reputation of the Azerbaijani Army. Besides, an administrative case was brought against well-known military journalist Tofig Shakhmuradov under Article 388-1.1.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with Article 24 of the law «On Prosecutor’s Office» for publishing prohibited by law information on his Facebook account. On the same day, the Nizami District Court of Baku arrested him for 30 days.
