On June 12, during the dispersal of the protest action organised by the opposition near the building of the National Assembly of Armenia, the police used special means, and as a result of explosions of flash-bang grenades and the resulting crush, several media workers were injured. This concerns the cameraman of News.am Vazgen Yetumyan, the cameraman of Armlur.am Hovsep Hovsepyan, the cameraman of CivilNet Narek Hayryan, the journalists of ABC media Nane Hayrapetyan and Aghvan Asoyan, the cameramen of the same website Edik Malakyan and Arman Gharibyan, the correspondent of Mediahub.am Nare Gevorgyan, the journalist of AlphaNews Arpine Baghdasaryan and the cameraman Hovhannes Hakobyan. During the clashes, the technical equipment of the editorial offices of the news websites Pastinfo and CivilNet, as well as of the online portal PARA TV, was damaged and lost.
