The Russian Ministry of Justice has added the Activatica portal, dedicated to civic activism, to its register of “foreign agents.” According to the Ministry of Justice, it disseminated false information about the decisions of the Russian authorities, the Russian army, and also “LGBT propaganda.” Activatica media project was founded by political emigrant Yevgenia Chirikova. Criminal cases have been opened against her in Russia.
