On October 9, a court in Tashkent ordered a 15-day arrest for blogger Abror Gulyamov for a humorous clip on the YouTube channel Brbalo. The reason for the prosecution was a statement by four citizens that «the clip contradicts ethical norms and traditions, and negatively affects the upbringing of youth and children». The Yunusabad District Criminal Court charged him under Article 183 (petty hooliganism) and Paragraph 1 of Article 194 (failure to comply with the lawful demands of police officer) of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
