The Dzerzhinsky District Court of St. Petersburg has recovered RUB 300,000 from ABNews.ru on a lawsuit filed by businessman Ilya Traber and ordered it to publish a refutation of an article about his criminal past. The plaintiff demanded compensation for moral damage in the amount of RUB 5 million. The refutation must state that Traber is not a «gangster», «raider», «criminal authority», «legend of gangster St. Petersburg», does not wear the nicknames «Antique’ and «Seaman», and all his capital is of legal origin. The ruling on the case was issued on September 20.
