Blogger Abdukodir Muminov, author of the YouTube channel Ko'zgu (227,000 subscribers), on Saturday night reported an attack by unknown people who smashed the windows of his car with a bat and beat him. According to him, he was hit with a bat and was also beaten with hands. He said he did not know what would have happened to him if he had not managed to drive away. The blogger said there were about five attackers. He called 102 and returned to the scene of the attack, where there were already police officers. He further said that a flash drive containing recordings of his personal conversations and conversations with people who had contacted him had been taken from his car's video recorder without his consent. He also said that his phone, which contained recordings of conversations with other people as part of his journalistic work, had been taken from him. A criminal case was opened over the attack.
