On January 8, Dr. Eduard Ambartsumyan filed a lawsuit against the founder of the newspaper Aravot, Aravot oratert, LLC, demanding retraction of information considered libellous and restitution of damage. The reason for the lawsuit was the publication on the site Aravot.am of an article which claimed that a family which had come from France had become a victim of fraud by Edward Abartsumyan. On April 6, by decision of the court, the action on the case was halted due to the plaintiff dropping the demands.
