On March 5, Yerevan State University Foundation filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against the founder of the news website 24News.am — 24 News.am LLC — with demands to refute the information considered libel and to pay monetary compensation in the amount of AMD 1 million (about USD 2,500).The reason for the lawsuit was the article «Pashinyan has a folder with dirt on YSU Rector: a corruption scandal is brewing» published on the above-mentioned website on February 5. The lawsuit is in the process of consideration.
